We were thrilled to welcome a team of volunteers from Haleon to the village yesterday.
Organised by our new Community Services Project Manager, Sabine, and supervised by our own resident and gardener Paul, they helped with some very necessary autumn maintenance and clearing in the Memorial Garden.
We have had a long-standing relationship with Haleon who have helped our Estates Team with an array of tasks from painting railings and white markings on cottage steps to make them safer for residents as well as clearing and maintaining the woodland and green areas to ensure the village always looks its best and remains safe and enjoyable for everyone. Keeping the 225-acre site safe, accessible and well maintained is ongoing for the Team who have to respond to the challenges that the natural habitat brings so we really do appreciate the hard work of our corporate volunteers.
If you would like to find out more about partnering with us in a similar way, we’d love to hear from you. We can help to facilitate an away day, working parties or as part of your CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitment.
