The Festive season is a time for celebrating, going out more and socialising and of course, we tend to make more purchases on-line this time of year than at any other.
Sadly, this also means that it's a busy time for scammers who find ways to infiltrate our emails, call us with offers and claim that a delivery is due demanding that we click a link or make a payment that is overdue. The elderly are particularly vulnerable as those that try and con in this way are becoming more sophisticated and believable.
