at Whiteley Village
The Village offers a stunning backdrop for your filming and photographic requests.
From family photo shoots amongst our bluebells and daffodils, or filming within our woodlands we can offer it all. Whiteley Village has been the location for many films, TV series and commercials popular with production companies working with the BBC, Netflix and Channel 4.
As a private estate we can simplify issues such as access and road closures along with ample space for crew parking.
Our woodlands and grounds also offer the space for team building activities and we work can work with external companies to provide a variety of activities.
Whiteley House
Whiteley House is a Grade II Listed building which was used as the original hospital. In later years it was used as a care home before closing in 2019. Inside, it still adopts this appearance and can be used as a film set.
The many suites, corridors and stairways provide a unique setting for production companies looking for this kind of environment. Behind the building is a parking area, perfect for small unit bases and an adjacent building which is also vacant called Ingram House, is ideal as holding rooms, costume storage or an on-site production office.

The lake and woodland
Covering over 200 acres of the estate is a tremendous variety of wooded areas all easily accessed by a series of meandering pathways.
Amongst the vast areas of thick rhododendrons, grasses and ancient trees, you'll find a lake, clearings and plenty of other natural spaces ideal for a variety of filming and photography assignments.
The Property and Estates Team care for the natural environment all year round and as you may imagine, the seasons can bring about a tremendous variety of change. So, if a project you're working on requires a magical forest, an enchanted woodland or simply an unspoilt natural backdrop , the woods at Whiteley could be exactly what you need.

The Village Hall
Located in the south west corner of the village is the original Village Hall.
This is a traditional hall space that comes with an extensive range of features and benefits making it ideal for a wide variety of filming and photography applications. At one end is the stage with backstage areas for costumes, equipment and toilets. The upper gantry at the opposite end is where the PA and lighting is controlled from.
Perfect for conferences, markets, theatre productions and exhibitions, it also comes with a sound system, parquet flooring, a bar area and side access for loading.
