Volunteering for a local charity can be mutually beneficial for organisations or companies and their employees. It can give staff a sense of wellbeing and pride, and helps illustrate your commitment as an employer to important local causes – all of which can be shared with some joined-up marketing and publicity.
We are grateful for the support of our various corporate partners, such as Haleon, Lodge Brothers, AXA Insurance, SHL Talent Innovations, Surrey Police, Surrey County Council and Verisk Analytics.
Below are a few suggestions for how you could support and partner with us; it’s not an exclusive list, so if you have your own ideas, then we’d love to hear from you!
Volunteering
There are many ways your team can get involved at Whiteley. We have numerous projects working with our estates team around the village, such as painting or gardening. You may also wish to help us organise or come along and support an event for our residents.
In return, we can offer some great partner opportunities for you. Getting employees involved with a local charity organisation and making a tangible contribution to their local community brings many rewards.
We can help organise work parties with you, team away days or placements to fulfil part of your CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitment. Alternatively, as we are a busy site that requires a lot of ongoing maintenance, we would be interested in talking to any companies about in-kind support with equipment, tools or supplies.
Our Marketing team can discuss including your branding on content like news stories, social posts and web copy for any joined-up campaigns to maximise exposure and drive engagement.
Sponsorship
There are numerous sponsorship opportunities available from at Whiteley. You may want to help support transport in the village, provide in-kind support with materials or simply help with items to be funded.
In return, our Marketing team can discuss joined-up campaigns, include your branding and other ways of driving engagement and maximising any PR opportunities.
Charity of the Year
If your organisation selects a ‘Charity of the Year’ we would love to hear from you.
As a Trust, we provide homes and support for those who need it most and your kindness will be going directly to the people who need it most. The difference your generosity makes will have a positive impact on the social welfare of our residents.
