Trustee
A unique Board opportunity for a senior Social Housing Finance Leader with Development Experience.
This is more than a Board role. It’s a chance to make a lasting impact. Are you an experienced Finance, Asset Management and Development social housing professional looking to make a meaningful impact as a Board member?
The Whiteley Homes Trust is seeking two new Trustees to join its Board at an exciting and pivotal time. For over 100 years, we have provided housing and care for older people of limited means, and today we are focused on securing a sustainable and ambitious future for our unique community .
As a Trustee, you will help shape strategy, oversee financial sustainability, and support the leadership team in delivering our charitable purpose. You will bring strong strategic thinking, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to governance.
We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in:
- Finance, treasury, and funding (ideally within social housing), or
- Asset management and development in the housing sector

Village Driver
We’re looking for a calm, reliable Village Driver who can also support our caretaking team when needed. This is a hands‑on, people‑centred role, helping residents get safely around the Village, carrying out light caretaking tasks, and being a reassuring presence throughout the day. You’ll help with transport, small deliveries, basic checks on the vehicle and equipment, and practical support around the Village to keep everything running smoothly. If you enjoy meeting people, take pride in being helpful, and want to make a real difference in a close‑knit community, we’d love to hear from you.
